1. To get rid of germs, you need to put the book in a plastic bag and place it in the freezer for the night.

2. For dry cleaning with slight dirt, just walk with a dry brush or a sticky roll

3. For persistent stains, wet wipes can be used.

4. You can wash the book manually (temperature not more then 30 C°). Very neat. Don't rinse or twist. Let it drain and booty it with a towel. Wait until the book dries in a natural way.
Hand washing is ideal for cleaning quilts:
1. Immerse quilt into water for 10 minutes, drain and re-fill tub with fresh water to remove soap from quilt.
2. Drying, remove wet quilt and put in a white sheet as a "sling". Lay it inside a bed sheet and then lift it out pulling on the sheet and not the quilt itself.
3. Lay quilt on dry towels and cover with a layer of dry towels and roll up. Gently push on quilt, unravel and lay the quilt flat on another set of dry towels until completely dry. Use a fan on low for quicker drying, or lay outside –not in direct sunlight.

Machine Wash Your Quilt:
1. Use cold water and a gentle detergent specific for quilt washing. There are special quilt soaps you can purchase, Orvus Quilt Soap, or Charlie's Soap are fantastic and recommended by quilt enthusiasts. I used Dr. Bronner's castile soap is also good.
2. Wash on the delicate cycle
3. Dry on a air dry or gather the quilt in a 'sling' again and take outside to dry.
Never hang wet quilts as this will certainly ruin it quickly.
